Here we have compiled the most frequently asked questions about our accommodation, bookings and services. Whether you have questions about check-in times, facilities or how to extend your stay, you will find the answers here. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Getting there

Bus from Central Station to Waterfront Cabins:
Take bus 21 from the Nordstan stop, location B, or bus X1 from Nordstan, location A. Get off at the Frihamnsporten stop, which is about 400 metres from our area.
Alternatively, you can take tram 10 from Nordstan, location B, and get off at Jubileumsparken – from there it is only a short walk to us.
Free boat: Älvsnabben is free to ride and runs between the stops Stenpiren and Lindholmspiren Monday to Friday. The Älveli and Älvfrida boats depart every 8 minutes between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The trip across the Göta River takes only 6 minutes.
Taxi: With Bolt or Uber, you can easily get from us to the central parts of Gothenburg.
Parking: There is also a large car park at the entrance, owned by the City of Gothenburg, with a fee of SEK 300 per day.

Other services / 24-hour reception 

Reception. Our reception is staffed around the clock. You will find us in the courtyard at kv 5, 6/7.
It is possible to rent or purchase a sheet and towel set for all types of stays.

Grocery store open 24/7 

You will find a grocery store at the entrance to the area. The store is open 24/7. Here you will find everything from food to snacks.  

Mobile key

To receive the key, you need to download the Waterfront Cabins app (you can find it where you download apps). Make sure to register the same phone number in the app that you provided when booking. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android.
Please note that 2 keys are included in your booking, and an additional fee of SEK 350 applies for any additional keys/key replacements.

Can I have visitors or guests in my studio?

Your friends and family are welcome to visit you when you are staying with us until 8 p.m. If you are having an overnight guest, please contact the booking department: booking@waterfrontcabins.se

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in your room or on any balcony/terrace. 

How do I check out?

You will be automatically checked out at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. For everyone’s comfort, please start the dishwasher if you have any dishes and leave any key cards on your kitchen table before leaving your studio. If you have any questions, please visit our reception, which is staffed 24/7.

How do I change or cancel my studio? 

Email info@waterfrontcabins.se if your booking was made directly through us, as special booking conditions may apply.

WiFi instructions

Block 1: First connect to your studio’s WiFi. Open a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) and enter the login details found on the inside of your front door.
Block 8:
You will find your code on the cabinet outside the bathroom.
Other blocks: Login details and router name can be found on the back of the router or on your front door. 

Fault reporting

 You can report faults by scanning the QR code on the inside of your front door. You will also find a link to the fault reporting form in your Waterfront Cabins app.

Security

The area is monitored 24 hours a day with cameras to give you and other guests the best possible experience on the pier.

How do I pay and/or change my payment card?

Guide to registering a payment card in your booking. You can change your payment card yourself in your cWallet account.

Is breakfast available?

There are several cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area where you can have breakfast.
