Terms and Conditions for Your Stay
1. The Stay
1.1. The applicable fee must be paid in accordance with these terms and conditions.
1.2. If the customer terminates the stay in breach of these terms and conditions, Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to retain applicable fees in accordance with these terms.
1.3. The stay may be registered in the name of a private individual (minimum age 18 years) or a legal entity.
1.4. Persons under the age of 18 may not occupy the studio unless accompanied by a legal guardian. The minimum age for access to the studio is 18 years.
1.5. The studio may not be transferred, assigned, or otherwise made available to anyone other than the person(s) and/or legal entity covered by the stay.
1.6. When confirming a stay, the customer must provide a personal identity number or passport number, alternatively the registration number of a legal entity. The customer must provide current contact details (email address, home address, and mobile phone number). Identification may be requested. Additional information may be required where stipulated by law, regulation, or official authority guidance. If the customer fails to provide the required information, Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to cancel the stay.
1.7. Waterfront Cabins does not guarantee that the same studio will be available throughout the entire agreed period.
2. Payment
2.1. The customer will be informed of the applicable accommodation fee when the stay is confirmed. The customer is responsible for registering the debit or credit card to be used for payment. Waterfront Cabins will charge the account linked to the registered card. We do not accept cash payments and do not accept cards issued by American Express. Invoicing requires a separate agreement.
3. Cancellation Before Arrival
3.1. If the customer fails to make payment as agreed, Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to cancel the stay. Standard policy: a 24-hour chargeable cancellation period applies.
3.2. Cancellation and prepayment policies vary depending on the selected rate plan.
3.3. No fee will be charged if the customer cancels at least 24 hours before 4:00 PM CET on the arrival date when booking a Flexible Rate.
3.4. One night plus applicable taxes will be charged if the customer cancels less than 24 hours before 4:00 PM CET on the arrival date, including no-shows.
3.5. For bookings made under a Non-Refundable Rate, the value of the stay will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
4. Termination of the Stay After Arrival
4.1. A stay that has already commenced is non-refundable in accordance with these terms and conditions.
4.2. Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to terminate the stay if the customer materially breaches these terms and conditions. The customer must then vacate the studio at the time specified by Waterfront Cabins.
5. Immediate Termination of the Stay
5.1. The stay may be terminated with immediate effect if:
5.1.1. The customer fails to make payment as agreed.
5.1.2. The customer or anyone in their party behaves in a disruptive manner.
5.1.3. The customer or anyone in their party intentionally damages the studio.
5.1.4. The customer or anyone in their party smokes inside the studio or on exterior walkways. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
5.1.5. More people than agreed use the studio for accommodation or overnight stays.
5.1.6. The customer engages in criminal activity within the studio.
5.1.7. A public authority requires the customer to leave the studio.
5.1.8. The studio is not maintained or kept in an acceptable condition during the stay.
5.2. No refund will be made if the stay is terminated with immediate effect.
6. Alternative Accommodation
6.1. If Waterfront Cabins is unable to provide the agreed studio due to extraordinary circumstances, Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to offer another equivalent studio or comparable alternative accommodation at no additional cost.
6.2. Extraordinary circumstances include, but are not limited to, pandemics, water damage, accidents, fire, strikes, natural disasters, interruptions to energy supply, water or sewage services, heating services, internet connectivity, or maintenance work affecting utilities. Extraordinary circumstances caused by Waterfront Cabins’ suppliers shall also release Waterfront Cabins from liability.
7. Keys
7.1. Waterfront Cabins operates a keyless access system using mobile keys. The solution is available for both Android and iPhone devices. The Waterfront Cabins app can be downloaded from the relevant app store.
7.2. Information regarding your studio can be found in the Waterfront Cabins app.
8. The Studio
8.1. The customer is responsible for the studio and must comply with all house rules and instructions.
8.2. Any faults or damage must be reported immediately and in writing to Waterfront Cabins. The customer is responsible for damage caused to the studio, including furnishings and equipment. Failure to report faults that result in additional costs may make the customer liable for such costs.
8.3. The customer is responsible for downloading and activating any required applications.
8.4. Pets are only permitted upon request and in selected studios.
8.5. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the studio or in common areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.
8.6. Smoking, removal of, or tampering with smoke detectors will result in a charge of at least SEK 5,000 for cleaning or replacement of bed linen, curtains, and similar items, in addition to any costs resulting from fire alarm activation.
8.7. Before departure, doors must be locked, windows closed, and electrical appliances and water taps turned off.
8.8. The area is currently under development, and disturbances may occur.
9. Personal Belongings and Valuables
9.1. Waterfront Cabins accepts no responsibility for personal belongings or valuables left in the studio or in common areas.
10. Right of Access
10.1. Waterfront Cabins reserves the right to access the studio for inspection, maintenance, or where a public authority suspects criminal or unauthorized activity. Prior notice may not always be possible.
11. Partial Invalidity
11.1. If any provision of these terms and conditions becomes wholly or partially invalid due to changes in legislation, regulations, authority decisions, or similar circumstances, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Temporary Building Permit
12.1. The customer acknowledges that the studios operate under a temporary building permit.
13. Information Before Departure
13.1. During the stay, the customer is expected to keep the studio and its contents in good condition. This includes surfaces, furnishings, and equipment provided within the studio.
